Harford County Right to Life

March 8, 2007 Monthly Meeting

Harford County Public Library, Bel Air Branch, Meeting Room 1, 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Pro-Life Leaders

  • Dr. Brian Clowes, Research Manager for Human Life International, traveled with some of his eight children from Manassas, Virginia to speak about the demographic impact of abortion.  A power point presentation accompanied his talk.
  • Mary White, a retired nurse, spoke about her experiences working as a nurse in hospitals and other environments where abortions were carried out.  She recalled numerous censures, reassignments, and jobs that she had to leave in order to maintain her pro-life convictions.  Peter Shinn (see below) broadcast Mary's talk live on the internet.
  • While Peter Shinn spoke, he was simultaneously broadcasting his own talk live on the internet.  Peter is the Technical Director for NationalProLifeRadio.net.  This online pro-life radio project broadcasts pro-life information, news, talk shows, and more--24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  Peter is also the founder of ProLifeNews.tv, MonthlyCallForLife.com, and ProLifeUnity.com.  He is also the co-founder of ProLifeParishProject.com and Blogs4Life.  At the center of Peter's projects is ProLifeUnity.com.  Through this effort, he is working to bring together pro-life people from around the world in order to discuss how we can work together better to challenge abortion and research that involves the killing of human beings.  Peter traveled from Virginia to speak at the meeting.

There were 27 people in attendance.
