Partial Birth Abortion
- Jessica C. and her husband traveled from Camden, New
Jersey to speak at the meeting. She told her story of having
submitted to a partial birth abortion and why she now speaks out
against abortion.
- The story of Donna Joy Vance was told on the floor
of the U.S. Senate by Rick Santorum while he was the main sponsor of
the bill to ban partial birth abortions. The Vance family were
guests of President George W. Bush when he signed the bill into law.
The family has made numerous appearances on national talk radio and
TV shows, telling their story to James Dobson, Phil Donahue, and
others. The Vance family traveled from
Tennessee to speak at the meeting.
There were 29 people in
attendance, including Maryland State Senator J. Robert Hooper and
Maryland State Delegate Susan McComas. |
